Guide for Authors

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

CyberSystem Journal invites authors to submit high-quality, original research papers, review articles, technical notes, and case studies in the fields of cybersecurity, systems innovation, and quantum technologies. Please ensure that your manuscript adheres to the following guidelines for a smooth and efficient submission and review process.

1. Manuscript Types

We accept the following types of manuscripts:

Original Research Articles: Comprehensive studies presenting significant new research findings.
Review Papers: Summaries of recent advancements, trends, and future directions in the fields of cybersecurity and quantum technologies.
Case Studies: Practical studies detailing real-world applications or solutions in cybersecurity and system design.
Technical Notes: Brief reports on new techniques, methodologies, or findings.

2. Manuscript Preparation

2.1 Title Page

The title page should include the following information:

Title: The title should be concise and descriptive (no more than 15 words) and reflect the content of the article.
Author(s): Provide the full name of each author (first and last name).
Affiliation: Include the institutional affiliation for each author, including department, institution, city, and country.
ORCID iD: Each author must provide their ORCID iD (if available). Authors without an ORCID should register at ORCID.
Corresponding Author: Identify the corresponding author with their full name, email address, phone number, and ORCID iD.

2.2 Abstract

The manuscript should include an abstract of 150-250 words summarizing the aim, methods, results, and conclusions of the paper. Avoid citing references within the abstract.

2.3 Keywords

Provide 4-6 keywords that are representative of the content of the manuscript. These keywords will help with indexing and searching.

2.4 Main Text Structure

The main body of the manuscript should follow this general structure:

Introduction: Clearly state the research problem, objectives, and the importance of the study. Provide background information and relevant literature to justify the research.
Methodology: Describe the methods, tools, and procedures used in the research. Ensure that the methods are reproducible by other researchers.
Results: Present the findings of the research in a clear, logical manner. Use tables, figures, and graphs to present data effectively.
Discussion: Analyze the results, interpret their significance, and discuss how they relate to existing literature. Identify any limitations and suggest future research directions.
Conclusion: Summarize the main findings of the study, its implications, and any future research opportunities.

2.5 Figures and Tables

Figures: Figures should be high quality (at least 300 dpi) and numbered sequentially. Include captions that describe each figure in detail.
Tables: Tables should be clear and concise, numbered sequentially. Each table must have a descriptive caption.

2.6 References

- Citation Style: Follow CyberSystem Journal’s reference style, based on IEEE formatting. References should be numbered in the order they appear in the text. At the end of the manuscript, list all references numerically.
- DOI: For articles that have a DOI (Digital Object Identifier), include the DOI at the end of the reference entry. If the article does not have a DOI, do not include it.
- Example format:

- DOI Format: Ensure that the DOI is formatted correctly as “doi: 10.xxxx/xxxxx” and is a complete and valid DOI link.
- Limit self-citations and ensure all references are accurate and relevant.

3. Submission Process

All manuscripts must be submitted online via the journal’s submission portal.
The submission process includes the following steps:
1. Online Submission: Upload the manuscript and supplementary files (figures, tables, etc.).
2. Peer Review: All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process.
3. Revisions: Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback.
4. Final Acceptance: Once the manuscript is accepted, it will undergo copyediting and typesetting.

4. Ethical Considerations

Authorship: Only individuals who made substantial contributions to the research should be listed as authors.
Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest related to the research.
Data Availability: Authors should provide access to the data supporting their findings, if applicable.
Plagiarism: CyberSystem Journal has a strict plagiarism policy. Manuscripts with a similarity index greater than 15%, or more than 3% from a single source, will be rejected. AI-generated content must be disclosed and should not exceed 5% similarity or *.

5. Plagiarism and Originality

Manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using Turnitin or iThenticate.
Manuscripts must have an overall similarity index of no more than 15%, with no more than 3% similarity from any single source.
AI plagiarism (content generated by AI tools) must be disclosed and should not exceed 5%.

6. Formatting and Style

Font: Times New Roman, 12-point size.
Spacing: Double-spaced throughout the manuscript (including references, tables, and figure captions).
Margins: 1-inch margins on all sides.
Headings: Number the headings as follows: 1. Introduction, 2. Methodology, 3. Results, etc.
Page Numbering: Ensure that all pages are numbered consecutively, starting from the Title Page.

7. Ethical Compliance

Human and Animal Rights: If the research involves human or animal subjects, authors must confirm that appropriate ethical approval was obtained. Include a statement in the manuscript detailing ethical compliance.
Informed Consent: For studies involving human participants, provide a statement that informed consent was obtained from all participants.
Data Protection: Authors must ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) when handling personal data.

8. Post-Acceptance and Publication

Once the article is accepted, it will undergo copyediting and typesetting.
Authors will receive proofs of their articles before final publication. It is the responsibility of the corresponding author to review and approve the proofs.
Accepted articles will be published online immediately and available in open access.
